Kanome' Jones

Kanomé Jones is excited to be a part of the Desperate Housewives ensemble! The characters are so colorful and complex and she has enjoyed her time crafting their sides of the story.  A Chicago-based actress, Kanomé has worked with various theater companies in the city: most recently she was seen as Demetrius in an all-female production of Titus Andronicus (Babes with Blades Theater Company) and she acted in the ensemble of The Scarlet S.  Kanomé works with Imagination Theater, performing shows about teasing and bullying for local area schools.   She is an artistic ensemble member of Midsommer Flight, a company dedicated to performing Shakespeare in neighborhood parks.   She is also the casting director for Waltzing Mechanics, a company that specializes in documentary theater. , Kanomé is a proud alumni of the apprentice/intern company at  the Actors Theatre of Louisville and holds a BFA in acting from Missouri State University. When not performing, she spends her time as a barista, a personal trainer and group fitness instructor.  Her favorite workout move: burpees with a push-up.
