Tina Wright is a dedicated church going, praying young lady. She is the mother of two young adults. Her son, Montrell is 21 years old. He is in college at ITT Tech, studying Electrical Engineering. Her daughter Tia is 19 year old college student and she is studying Mass Communication at UALR. Her 20 year old marriage ended August 2014, so she is busy trying to be an obedient daughter to her GOD and a rolling model for her children.

 

She received her degree in Criminal Justice/ Paralegal studies two years ago and plan to go back to UALR to receive her masters’ degree in Writing and Rhetoric. The most important thing to her is family. When she was living in Texas, she missed her family and is glad to be back home in Arkansas in the throes of her immediate family, and her church family. Having large dinner parties with family and friends is her favorite thing to do. She also love to help within the community, and helping teenagers figure out what they want to do in their life.

 

Her church; Bethel AME, believes community is key. Everyone is your neighbor and when your neighbor needs help, if you can help, please do so with an open heart. FYI, Help doesn’t always mean money. When she was

asked to be a part of the Desperate House wives of the Bible play, she was humbled and bewildered. She has never acted before and didn’t know if she would be any good. When Ms. Morris ran down the list of characters to her, the name that jumped out to her was Rahab. Her bible study had review the life of Rahab the week before, so she felt like she could do that character. Her life was so compelling, and a good love story. A big hearted dedicated strong willed lady will be able to pull this part off...enter Tina Wright.
