Shamelle Reveter

Shamelle Reveter is an female artist who has relocated to her family’s home state of Arkansas from Los Angeles, California. A vocalist, beginner vocal and piano trainer, music studio trainer, and the owner of Destiny’s Talent, LLC. She has a diverse musical background that includes Contemporary/Inspirational Christian, Gospel,

Opera, and Musical Theatre.

Ms. Reveter, a former student of UALR, who majored in Vocal Performance and minored in Business Management, is hard-working, determined, dedicated and poised to be successful in all that she does. And she does lots quite well. Her career path includes working with at-risk youth in the development of designing and implementing service learning projects. She uses her creative talents to design projects that are of specific interest to at-risk

youth. These projects serve as learning tools for youth, helping them to choose constructive paths and become responsible teens and adults. Working with the youth in writing, directing, and producing plays includes making DVDs/CDs with music that provides positive, life-serving messages. The plays are presented at various community events whose goal it is to forestall negative influences facing already at-risk youth and to present them with uplifting life alternatives.

While serving as a consultant to community-based and faith-based organizations where she assists in incorporating creative arts in their after school programs, Ms. Reveter also creates community projects that allow the non-traditional artists opportunities to perform and display gifts and talents that they don’t often get to share. She uses stage productions, musicals, production projects/fundraisers and collaborative works for the non-traditional and in-experienced artist. Ms. Reveter’s experience as a performer in Opera and Musical Theatre includes, but is not limited to, the lead role of “Buttercup” in the HMS Pinafore, in addition to her role of “Warden” in the musical production of “Chicago”.

She has auditioned for and landed highly-regarded positions in UALR’s Concert Choir and in Opera Memphis House in Tennessee. She has also performed with many professional music companies and choruses; this includes but is not limited to the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra under the conduction of Phillip Mann. In California, she has performed in several religious stage plays and has worked as an extra and background actress on television shows, including “Win Ben Stein’s Money”.
